Volunteers are wanted to help correct the online versions of Cleasby/Vigfusson's An Icelandic-English Dictionary and Bosworth/Toller's An Anglo-Saxon Dictionary. Online versions of these texts are already available and can be searched using the Search form. However, the texts have not been corrected; they are still full of OCR errors.
Corrections are done a page at a time. You can correct just one page, or as many pages as you like.
It takes around 75-90 minutes to correct a page (a little longer for your first page or two). However, you can take as long as you like; it's more important to be accurate than fast.
The resulting corrected texts will be made available on the web for free, without copyright restriction. There will be no limitations placed on how you may use the files: you can copy them, share them, post them in your own web space, convert them to other formats, create derived works, etc.
